COMMUNITY CONCERT FUNDRAISER for Brooklyn Avenues
With the groundbreaking completed, construction will soon begin on the Brooklyn Avenues Youth Homeless Shelter, just up Broadway Ave from Prince of Peace. It is the first of its kind in the suburbs and will prevent homeless youth from exploitation and harm. Prince of Peace is one of the faith communities that initially supported the city’s effort to make this a reality. Musicians from a variety of churches have been working together to plan the benefit concert.
Plan to attend an inspired night of music featuring:
Gospel Singer, Robert Robinson & a 100 voice community choir
Brooklyn Big Band & Cultural Performance at
Prince of Peace Church
Saturday, October 11, 7 pm
Everyone Welcome!
Donations Accepted for the Shelter.
