What We Believe

We believe in Jesus and are theologically and denominationally Lutheran, we are part of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America

What We Believe

As Christians we’re called to love as Jesus loves, we affirm you regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, or family structure, and not just welcome to worship but to be a part of our community, serve, teach, and preach.
We are working to reverse the damage the church has done to the BIPOC & LGBTQIA+ communities in the past and present. We believe that love is what truly makes us beautiful, and God created us all beautifully in Their image.

You have a part to play in God’s work of redemption, and we are here to experience and share that with each other, first, and then bring it with us into all the other places we find ourselves.

Grace is God’s definitive and ongoing response to the broken world in which we live. Where you come from and what you’ve done (what you’re proud of or not) are important aspects of who you are because those are the experiences through which God’s grace and mercy become real and powerful.

The best opportunity for faith and friendship to grow is through regular worship and participation in the small group ministries of the church (GroupLife).

The ministry of Prince of Peace falls into four important focus areas. These ministry teams challenge, support, and give direction to the mission and ministries of the church:

Community Life – We believe all people need a sense of purpose and belonging. We promote a healthy, caring community while strengthening the unique call on the congregation to partner with God in God’s mission.

Congregational Care – We believe there are many important events throughout our lives as children of God. Here, you will find your church will lift you up in whatever ways you need, and whatever ways we can.

Outreach – We believe we are called to be the hands and feet of Christ, serving God’s people locally and globally as God leads us. We seek opportunities to connect our gifts with God’s mission throughout the world.

Sunday Morning Experience – We believe in making the most of the opportunities we have to gather on Sunday morning. “From street to seat”, we welcome everyone into a meaningful worship experience.
