Baptism
As Lutheran’s, we believe baptism is a sacred sacrament. Baptism welcomes an individual into the Christian community as a child of God. Baptism at Prince of Peace is available for ALL ages.
Whenever a family feels a child (or adult) is ready to be baptized, please contact Katie.
Baptism Celebration
On Baptism of our Lord we gather all those who were baptized in the previous year to celebrate and give them tool to celebrate their loved ones baptisms in the years to come.
Welcome to Children’s Ministry
For all children who are attending Children’s Ministry (aka Sunday School) for the first time. The Welcome event happens on the Saturday after Kick Off Sunday. There is a bible presentation on the first Sunday in October.
Prayer Milestone
All 4 year-olds and their families are invited to join us for a prayer milestone two Sundays after Easter.
Bible Milestone
All 2nd grade students are invited to join us for a bible presentation and class on the first Sunday in October.
Communion
On Maundy Thursday, we celebrate the last supper of the Lord.
Communion is the other sacrament that Lutheran’s believe is sacred. This day we welcome youth to join us at the table and celebrate the communion milestone by partaking in the elements with us.
Welcome to Youth Ministry
All 6th grade students are invited to participate in Bible Sunday as they are presented with their youth bible.
Affirmation of Baptism
9th grade students are invited to join us for the Affirmation of Baptism on Reformation Sunday.
A faith essay and interview are required for participation.
Graduation Sunday
All graduating seniors and their families are invited to celebrate their High School Graduations on the first Sunday in June
