- The Nominating Team will be meeting tonight, to hopefully finalize our slate of candidates or list of final asks, and we’ll hopefully have the slate for council approval in December. Because it is not the typical year, I’d like to talk to the council about assembly delegates tonight.

Staff Reports:
Youth and Childrens and Family Ministry – Katie
It has been busy in the world of Children, Youth and Family Ministry, but that is to be expected when you have Trunk-or-Treat, Affirmation of Baptism, and regular weekly ministry gatherings all happening at the same time.
As we head into this Holiday Season, we will be taking an intentional “pause” in Children, Youth and Family Ministry to allow time to take a deep breath, evaluate and make possible changes as we head into 2024.
This past Sunday we kicked off a NEW Jingle Jangle Coin Drive as a way for our young people to participate in the giving of this congregation. They are encouraged to collect spare change from family, friends, neighbors – and bring their full jars to Church from now through December 10th.
The CEAP Toy Drive is also underway, and the tree is now UP in the Welcome Center.
The ADVENTure Party and Decorating Event will be on November 29th, and is complete with a Soup, Salad and Dessert Potluck. The event will run from 5-8.
The Children, Youth and Family Christmas Program will be on Sunday, December 10th as part of worship.
We will be having a “POST HIGH SCHOOL” Reunion on Wednesday night, December 20th for any student who graduates in 2019 – 2023. More details will be confirmed SOON.

Unfinished Business:
The council discussed having a December meeting and it was decided with all the Christmas events, we will not meet.
The council discussed our upcoming Budget/Annual meeting. It will be held January 21, 2024 at 10:45, immediately after the service.
