PLEASE JOIN US TO CELEBRATE!Building on Dreams Special Event coming April 11thAt 5pm: Quincy Hall, MinneapolisCome one, come all!!Avenues for Youth is having a special birthday party celebrating 30 years of service to youth experiencing homelessness and you have an opportunity to participate. Please consider attending “Building on Dreams”, Avenues for Youth’s annual fundraiser. This is a casual after work event with inspirational testimonials from former Avenues youth, community leaders, talented musicians and a variety of fun activities.Prince of Peace has been a long time sponsor of this event and we’d love to have you join our POP Outreach team at this event by registering online at: give.avenuesforyouth.org.We have so much fun together each year and always learn more about the many great things Avenues is doing in our community.Your support of this event will help provide emergency shelter, short term housing and much needed resources for 300 youth in Hennepin county and surrounding suburbs in 2024. We hope you’ll add this program to your calendars.Please note: As you register for the event, you will be asked “Who is your Building on Dreams host?” simply click on the drop down menu & answer: Amy Kust & Prince of Peace.Mark Your Calendars:Sunday, April 28th from 11am – 5pmThe POP Food Truck Festival is BACK! Come and sample up to 20 different food trucks ranging from roasted coffee, to freshly made sandwiches, to rolled ice cream & cheesecakes, there is something delicious for everyone!!
SECOND HARVEST HEARTLAND FOOD PACKING EVENTWe invite you to join with other Prince of Peace volunteers to pack food at Second Harvest Heartland on Wednesday, May 1 from 6PM – 8PM. This is a fun event for friends and families to do together and great timing for students (8 years and older) who need volunteer credits before the end of the school year. Sign-up at the Welcome Center kiosk or click HERE.
Grow Deep OpportunitiesWomen’s Bible StudyWomen’s Bible Study meet every first Wednesday of the month. For this month the date is April 3rd at 2pm. Children, Youth and Family Ministry UpdatesAfter a Busy March with Spring Break, Holy Week and the Plant Sale – we are going to slow things down a little bit, while still keeping the energy going for Children, Youth and Family Ministry!* Childrens Ministry will be hosting a Parents DAY OUT on Saturday, April 20th from 10am-4pm* Middle School Ministry will be hosting a Game Night (back by popular demand) on Friday, April 19th from 6-10pm.* High School Ministry will be having an event that is still TBD.

During the April showers, you might like to enjoy several good books and DVDs that are on display in the library.
