This Sunday, March 27, is packed full of ways to reach out to others and to grow deep in our Christian faith. Our gospel text comes from John 4:5-42 – the story of Jesus offering living water to the woman at the well. There are tons of ministry opportunities, too.  The POP Kids’ Choir sings at both services. You can order your flowers, vegetables and herbs for your garden, and you can make an appointment to donate blood. Introduce yourself to Interim Pastor Mark Bents. Connect with friends! We’ll see you Sunday!Read More →

Visit our Facebook page to see love in action. We made 1000 sandwiches for 363 Days, a grass roots ministry that feeds the hungry in Minneapolis every night of the year. For some, it is the only food they receive on any given day. It’s not the first time we have come together to make sandwiches for 363 Days, and it won’t be the last! We are humbled and thankful we can share what we have with others. “Lord, continue to use us as we grow deep in our faith in You and reach out in love to others. Amen.”Read More →

There is some friendly competition between Sunday School classes and the congregation. Do you know who’ll come out the winner? The CEAP Food Pantry for certain! You can bring food when you come for the Lenten services or on Sundays!Read More →

These three things have a lot in common. Loaves and Fishes prepares and serves evening meals to the hungry five nights a week. River of Life Lutheran Church provides the kitchen and dining area for this ministry. Health Inspectors say the kitchen needs updating. Contractors say it will cost $185,000-225,000 to complete the updates. We say Prince of Peace has actively supported this ministry for 18 years, and we’d like to keep going! During the remaining Sundays in February, we will highlight this ministry in our “Reach Out” series. “Grow Deep and Reach Out” are the components of our ministry model that serves as aRead More →
