SUMMER MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

SUNDAY MORNING DIG is offered two Sundays a month and is an informal Sunday School like gathering.  We meet all together (anyone 3 years old – 6th grade) right after Kids Time and return to worship after the Sermon. During our time together we explore the readings for the day through games, activities, crafts and sometimes a snack.  You do not need to pre-register for DIG, simply come on a Sunday morning.

UPCOMING DIGS
* June 25 (T-H-A of Gratitute Jar)
* July 9 (N-K-S of Gratitude Jar)
* July 23 (Holy Inheritance)

On Sundays when DIG is not offered, we have Childrens Activity bulletins that follow the morning’s readings as well.  Those bulletins (and crayons) can be picked up as they return to their seats from Kids Time.

NEW in 2017: On some non-DIG Sundays we have a member of the Congregation who has volunteered to do some “Storytime Sundays”. Storytime Sundays will have the same time frame as DIG and will happen by the Wiggle Garden/Library area.

ACTIVITY TABLES are offered as part of our Wednesday night worship.  They are located right outside of the CLC (where we hold Wednesday worship) and provide different activities for the young people that go along with the Gospel reading and main topic for the evening.  The activity tables are available after Kids Time for the remainder of the service.

SCHOOL YEAR MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES

SUNDAY SCHOOL meets during both Sunday Morning worship services (9:00 and 10:30).  We invite all children ages 3 (by September 1st, 2016) – 6th grade join us.  We encourage pre-registration, but it is not required if you would simply like to check it out on a Sunday morning. Our classes are divided by age group.

Our regular Sunday School is done until September, however we offer PLENTY of opportunities in the Summer months as well!

FAMILY WORSHIP SUNDAYS happens 3-4 times a year and they give our young people a chance to be in worship for more of the Worship service. On Family worship Sundays our young people start in worship, leave during the readings and sermon, and return after the sermon is over. During their time out of the service they will be doing activities that will give them a glimpse of the Gospel in way that is applicable to their life. Our next Family Worship Sunday will be in the Fall after we return to our regular Sunday School schedule.
