QUILTERS UPDATE
The POP Quilters have wrapped up another very productive season of quilting. e suspend meeting as a group over the busy summer months, but some of our members continue to work on quilt tops individually until we meet again as a group in the Fall.During the past quilting season, we have donated a total of 186 quilts & 22 polar fleece throws to various worthy organizations, including the Mission Free, Sharing & Caring Hands, Veteran’s Hospital, Salvation Army Harbor Light Center, Lutheran Social Services for Refugees and NEAR Food Shelf. Many thanks to the parishioners who donated sheets and materials this past year! We always appreciate donations of cotton/poly fabrics or sheets (no knits, silky, microfiber or heavy fabrics please, as they are difficult to work with).
