WELCOME TO KIDS CHOIR AT PRINCE OF PEACE!

We are currently on break for the Summer!  Rehearsals will resume in September!

Our Choir is open for any student that is in 1st-6th grade.

REHEARSAL
We meet and rehearse on Sunday mornings from 10:00-10:30 AM.  Our rehearsals meet in the Chapel (located in the Education Wing)  Once our School Year starts, a rehearsal schedule will be posted so that you know of dates that we will not meet.

PERFORMANCES
We typically sing in Church on the 4th Sunday of the month.  On days that we perform we ask that all Choir students are in the Chapel at 9:35 to rehearse.  Those students who are in the 9:00 Sunday School will be released from their Sunday School class.

When we sing in Church we sing right before the Benediction at the 9:00 Service, and during the opening Worship set at the 10:30 service.

We also sing a special song as part of the Sunday School Christmas Program, Children and Family Christmas Eve Service, and our very own SPRING MUSICAL!

DIRECTOR
Our choir is under the direction of Katie Hines.  Katie has a Music Education Degree from Gustavus Adolphus College and LOVES to sing.  She also plays the cello.  Even though she no longer teaches music (she works for Target in downtown running thier adult education programs) she is still actively involved in music.  She is a member of both the Senior Choir and Bell Choir and also cantors at the 9:00 service.  Her daughters are also both in the choir.
