Youth Mission Trip 2011 Blog

Revolution is our Senior High (Grades 10-12) ministry here at Prince of Peace.   We meet weekly on Wednesdays from 8pm-9:30pm.  Our meetings are weekly rotations of worship, fellowship, service and discussion.

• Worship meets on the first Wednesday of the month, and is led by Minneapolis worship leader and friend of Revolution Justin Rimbo.  He brings friends and we take over the chapel with singing and dancing.
• Fellowship meets on the 2nd or 3rd Wednesday of the month.  Past fellowship events include laser tag, bowling, sardines, human battleship, ultimate frisbee, broomball, and an airband tournament.
• Service projects meet on the 2nd or 3rd Wednesday of the month.  Past service projects include Feed My Starving Children, 363Days.org, CEAP, Treehouse, college care packages, and Valentine’s Day cards for members.
• Discussion nights meet on the 3rd or 4th Wednesday of the month.  We start discussions on topics such as world religion, heaven and hell, God and suffering, dating and relationships, temptation, will of God, Activism, God in media, and more.  We bring in special guest speakers, media and scripture to help inform our discussions.

Students who are interested in going deeper into the topics introduced during the Revolution discussion weeks are invited to join our senior high small group ministry – called iRev.  iRev meets from 6:30-8pm and is lead by Prince of Peace adult leaders (and it’s awesome).
